Claudio Allia  is a fine art awards winning photographer, music writer and producer for passion and actually living and working in Sicily as MD Ophthalmologist.

Since early eighties up to 2005 he has focused most of his creative energies in the music field releasing music promo with his bands, playing in venues, working as session musician in several recording studios of his area. At that time, Claudio have been using his film camera mostly to document travels and people portraits.

 In 2005, after his INSOUT Music Project's CD "Acoustic Privacy" has bee released, Claudio was captivated by the digital photography technology advent, and started to experiment with new visual and creative approaches into his photographic world, exploring and developing as well his knowledges in the digital editing field and spacing his body of work from surrealistic or conceptual collections/series up to pure social/documentary photography. In the last ten years Claudio Allia started to exhibit his own works through personal and collective photographic exhibitions in Italy and around the world and in 2009-2011 he focused some of his personal photographic works/series inside the reality/surreality of the Mathare Valley slum (Nairobi) supporting and promoting humanitarian and aid projects which could improve the life quality and the human rights of the slum wellers. 

In 2013 Claudio became father of beautiful kid Jacopo and in 2016 started to work on his new instrumental rock music project titled "Second Life".
